The Hampton Roads Philharmonic is excited to return to Christopher Newport University for its 6th annual Virginia Community Music Festival on May 22 at 7:00 PM. This festival celebrates community music and brings together ensembles from across Virginia. The HRP will perform a 50-minute program of highlights from our season in the beautiful Diamonstein Concert Hall.

In addition to our performance, the festival will feature workshops and lectures on topics such as health for adult musicians, audience development, fundraising, and more. We encourage you to attend all weekend to support your local performing arts organizations.
